Dr. Szolnoki Nikolett
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Physician, Balance Medical Center Medical Director
I have been working in hyperbaric oxygen therapy since 2005, and between 2012-2018 I ran the Baromedical HBOT centre in Budakeszi. Currently I am the Medical Director of Balance Medical Centre in Lenti (Zala), where our complex musculoskeletal rehabilitation centre with HAUX Starmed-2200 eight-person private hyperbaric oxygen therapy Ke-Son chamber is engaged in therapeutic, rehabilitation and preventive activities. I have been involved in the healing, organizational and professional management of Balance Medical Center since its inception. I do scientific work, publish, build professional relationships, present at international medical conferences. I consider it my mission to raise awareness of hyperbaric oxygen therapy in both professional and public forums, and to integrate the method into the co-professions.
The Blue Zone project aims to promote the principles of healthy living and longevity, which is closely linked to my work with hyperbaric oxygen therapy. Hyperbaric oxygen therapy plays a role in rehabilitation and improving general health, in addition to healing. Scientific research supports its anti-ageing effects.
In communities where there is a strong focus on health promotion, we often see stress management, physical activity and nutrition awareness. Hyperbaric oxygen therapy goes beyond these to optimise the body’s regeneration and functioning. My therapy not only supports physical and cognitive health, but also has an indirect positive impact on mental well-being.

Gombos Brigitta
Organisational development consultant, trainer, coach
I originally graduated as an environmental engineer, and my commitment to sustainability has been my life ever since. Yet, more than 25 years ago, I decided that I wanted to focus on human development rather than nature. Since then, I have been working as a trainer, coach and organisational development consultant, supporting individuals and companies to operate more efficiently and consciously.
I believe that all change comes from within and that real progress only happens when we commit to our own path. As Gandhi said:
“Be the change you want to see in the world.”
As a coach, I help you to see your goals more clearly, find your resources and walk your path – even if it is sometimes challenging.
If you’re looking for me as an entrepreneur or business leader, I can help you create a workplace culture where colleagues not only get the job done, but stay motivated, engaged and successful in the long term.
Progress is a process – and you will not be alone on this journey with me.

Szász Noémi
Nutritionist and food engineer
I’m Noémi Szász, a Nutritionist and food scientist. I graduated from the Faculty of Nutrition at Semmelweis University and since 2017 I have gained experience in different segments of the food industry in several FMCG companies. These experiences have deepened my knowledge of food, especially in the field of innovation and product development. In my work, I have the opportunity to learn about the latest market trends, which allows me to make an informed judgement on whether a new product is a real functional food or just a marketing gimmick.
Sport and a healthy lifestyle have always played an important role in my life. I have been running at amateur level for ten years, mainly half marathons, which required a deeper understanding of nutrition and the effects of nutrients on the body. Over the years, I have also applied my knowledge in small collaborations, research and consultancy, which allows me to offer a comprehensive approach to nutrition support.

Biomedical engineer, longevity researcher
I am Bertalan Thuróczy, biomedical engineer, longevity researcher.
I grew up in Rákóczifalva, and after studying electrical engineering at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME), I turned to the medical field. After completing a joint Master’s degree in biomedical engineering at BME and Semmelweis University, I joined a Hungarian pharmaceutical company, where I am still working, paradoxically, on the need to reduce the number of drugs we take: I am involved in the development of digital health solutions that use artificial intelligence. I am also doing my PhD in longevity research.
In the Blue Zone project research, we will work with a number of doctors to develop science-based solutions that contribute to long-term health and well-being. Our research in the coming years will aim to provide valuable new knowledge to the scientific community and help the Blue Zone community to develop conscious, healthy lifestyles.
In addition, I wrote my story so far, from my recovery from cancer to my pursuit of longevity, in Run, Believe, Live, and I published a second volume, Super sapiens, about scientific, health and technological innovations, biosensors, wearable devices that help readers better understand modern medical and biotechnology trends and the functioning of their own bodies. As a continuation of my commitment to healthy living and sustainable well-being, I hope that the research of the Blue Zone project will be prominent not only in the domestic but also in the international arena.

I am Pálné Turcsán, Zita, I have been working in healthcare for 45 years, and my main areas of expertise are home care, wound care, and the prevention and treatment of bedsores. The Blue Zone aims to help people live longer and healthier lives. This includes disease prevention, proper exercise, nutrition and – often overlooked – proper care.
